Adelaide Tutors specialises in a small set of SACE subjects: Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Physics, along with Chemistry and Biology. Maths and Physics classes are led by a tutor with more than 25 years of teaching experience who has served as a SACE moderator, so lessons are built around how SACE work is actually set and marked.
Each class has no more than 6 students. That is small enough for the tutor to check every student's working, and large enough that students learn from each other's questions.

How SACE assessment works, and where tutoring helps
In Stage 2, 70% of a student's result in each of these subjects comes from school assessment across the year, and 30% from the end-of-year examination. That means the final grade is being decided from the first test in Term 1, not only in November.
Our weekly classes follow the SACE subject outline in step with school, so students arrive at each test and investigation already practised. Closer to exams, lessons shift towards timed, exam-style questions and the way answers need to be set out to earn full marks.
What is included
Starting before Year 11 or Year 12
Students moving into Stage 1 or Stage 2 can get ahead over summer with our Headstart program, and younger students can build the foundations in Year 10 Mathematics. You can also see past student results or get directions from your suburb.
