Frequently Asked Questions
If your question is not answered here, please contact us directly — we are happy to help.
We offer a single trial lesson for each subject before any commitment is required. The trial is a full-length session — 2 hours for Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Year 10 Mathematics, and 90 minutes for Physics. It gives you a genuine experience of the teaching quality and the class environment. After the trial, you can decide whether to enrol for a full term.
The trial lesson is completely free of charge. It is a full-length session — 2 hours for Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Year 10 Mathematics, and 90 minutes for Physics — at no cost to you. There is no obligation to continue after the trial.
After the trial lesson, the minimum commitment is one full term of 10 sessions. This ensures continuity of learning and allows students to genuinely benefit from the program. Because we keep class sizes small, we cannot hold spots open indefinitely.
Yes. All enrolled students receive comprehensive study material prepared by our tutor. This includes theory notes, worked examples, and practice questions tailored to the SACE curriculum. There is no need to purchase or source additional resources — everything you need is provided as part of the program.
Contact us by phone or email to express your interest and check availability. We will arrange a trial lesson at a mutually convenient time. After the trial, if you wish to continue, we will confirm your spot for the term.
We maintain a strict maximum of 6 students per class. This is a structural commitment, not a marketing claim. Small groups ensure every student gets direct interaction with the tutor in every session and that questions are always answered.
Mathematical Methods (Year 11 & 12), Specialist Mathematics (Year 11 & 12) and Year 10 Mathematics sessions are 2 hours per week. Physics (Year 11 & 12) sessions are 90 minutes per week. All sessions are held once per week.
Every week, in addition to the regular class, students have access to a dedicated doubt clearance session where they can bring any question — from class, homework, or past papers. This session is included in the weekly fee at no extra cost. It is one of the most valuable aspects of our program and ensures no confusion carries over from week to week.
If a student misses a class, we will make every effort to accommodate them in another session slot during the same week, subject to availability. We cannot guarantee a make-up slot in every case, but we will always try. Missed classes cannot be carried over to the following week.
Mathematical Methods (Year 11 & 12): $80 per week for a 2-hour session. Specialist Mathematics (Year 11 & 12): $80 per week for a 2-hour session. Physics (Year 11 & 12): $60 per week for a 90-minute session. Year 10 Mathematics: $80 per week for a 2-hour session. All fees include the weekly doubt clearance session at no extra cost. Fees are charged on a term basis.
We offer a free trial lesson specifically so that students and families can assess the teaching quality before committing to a term. Because we provide this free trial opportunity, and because we keep class sizes strictly limited, we are unable to offer refunds once a term enrolment has been confirmed. Spots are limited and held exclusively for enrolled students — a confirmed enrolment prevents another student from taking that place.
We do not offer mid-term cancellations. The minimum commitment is one full term (10 sessions). This policy exists because we keep class sizes very small — a mid-term cancellation creates a gap that cannot easily be filled, and it disrupts the continuity of the group. We encourage all prospective students to use the trial lesson to make a fully informed decision before committing.
No. The weekly fee covers the regular class session and the weekly doubt clearance session. There are no enrolment fees, resource fees, or hidden charges.
Yes. All teaching is fully aligned with the current SACE curriculum for each subject. Our tutor has extensive SACE teaching and moderation experience, which means he is intimately familiar with the curriculum, the assessment standards, and what examiners reward.
Yes. Students receive relevant practice problems, worked examples, and past paper materials as part of the program. The focus is always on building genuine understanding — not just drilling practice questions.
Yes. Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Physics classes are available for both Year 11 and Year 12 students. The curriculum is taught progressively, so students who join in Year 11 and continue into Year 12 benefit from the continuity of the same expert teaching across both years.
This depends on availability and where the class is in the curriculum. Contact us to discuss your situation and we will advise whether mid-year entry is feasible for your specific subject and year level.
